It's fridaaaaaaaayyy!!
This week has been so lovely. I've had my lashes done, my nails, my new tattoos & I've had so many lovely new clients as well it's been such a treat. Have you guys had a good week? Have you done anything to treat yourselves?
We've got a Peyton free weekend this weekend so we are going for dinner with friends & hopefully this blooming rain finally stops so we can do some nice walks too.
Did anyone try the lemon & ginger icecube hack? If you haven't you really should because I've been on the verge of a cold for a couple of weeks but my morning drinks stopped it in its tracks thankfully.
This week we are going to be talking self care, how asthetics help you stay on the right track, clear quartz & the ex hex.
So as a always grab a coffee, get cosy & let's get into this weeks issue of coffee with Chloe

Healing
So when we think of self care our minds automatically go to beauty treatments, skincare etc, but did you know there are 7 pillars of self care?! Mental, Emotional, Physical, Environmental, Spiritual, Recreational & Social. Do you make all of these a priority in your self care routine? I know I certainly don't look after all aspects mostly the social part.
I thought to help us all out I would make a little list of ideas for each section so we can all make a more concerted effort to give our self care routine a glow up.

Wellbeing

This weeks well-being ties in nicely with the environmental side of self care.
Do you buy food, stuff it all in the fridge then can't find anything to eat so you end up getting a takeaway? Well yeah same.
So I took a leaf out of the stay at home tiktok mums book & decided to make my fridge a little bit more organised so I can see what's in there. I don't have to hunt around for something to eat. It's all organised & pleasing to the eye so it makes the healthy choices more appealing.
You don't have to spend a fortune on fancy acrylic boxes & storage, everything I've used in there I already had. I had so much fun doing this getting creative & it makes me happy every single time I open my fridge.
Send me your pictures if you have a go I'd love to see all your ideas.

What's Good This Week

This week I've been reading the ex hex. This isn't really my kind of book but it was cute & fun. If you like light, romantic beach reads then you'll love it. I'm more of a murder, drugs & who done it kind of girl (unless it's Colleen Hoover)
It's about a cute town in America & randomly the witches that originally gave the town it's magic live in Wales (don't ask me) one of the sons of this famous witchy family falls in love at 19 with a witch from the town (in America) he breaks her heart, she puts a hex on him & then 9 years later he returns & that's when it all goes wrong. The witches live in secret but then as things get progressively worse with the hex it becomes increasingly more difficult to keep it a secret from the non witches that live there.
Like I said it's fun & cute but there's just not enough in it to keep my interest going. It's probably a good book to get you back into reading if you've lost your mojo but I'm giving it a 5/10
Love reading this on a Friday morning. Must get round to making the ice cubes! X
